FIFTH ANNUAL SAINT CLARE'S WALK
FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS RAISES $75,000
Proceeds to Benefit The Women’s Health Center at Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover
With the summer’s warm temperatures hanging on into early
fall, 400 members of the community, regional corporations, community
leaders, and staff of Saint Clare’s Health System, raised
$75,000 at the Fifth Annual Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast
Cancer Awareness, presented by Commerce Bank, sanofi aventis,
WMTR 1250 AM and WDHA 105.5 FM. This year’s proceeds,
the most raised in the event’s history, have been earmarked
for the purchase of a new sterotactic biopsy table, a “gold
standard” in diagnostic tools for breast cancer, and its
associated equipment.

We offer special thanks to all our sponsors, donors, and members
of our planning committee for all their hard work. Click

At this year's event, Saint Clare's presented the First Annual Mary
Mulholland Spirit Award, recognizing outstanding volunteer leadership in support of Saint Clare's Walk
for Breast Cancer Awareness. The award was presented to its namesake, Mary Mulholland.
The walk, which benefits The Women’s Health Center at
Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover, takes place just prior to the
start of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The
2007 Walk will be held on Sunday, September 16.
